Swizz Beatz Preps Experimental Album, "I'm Mixing Indian Music W/ Arabic Sounds"

Rap producer Swizz Beatz has announced plans to make a return to the studio with an experimental album featuring global sounds.

According to Swizz, a portion of the album's profits will go toward charity.

"MY NEW ALBUM IS GOING TO BE OUT OF THIS WORLD 2010 STYLE IM MIXING INDIAN MUSIC WITH ARABIC SOUNDS MEETS BDP! YOU WILL SEE.NEW SOUND TIME!," he wrote on Twitter Monday (January 4) morning. "IM GIVING 30% OF THE $ MADE ON MY ALBUM TO ART & MUSIC SCHOOLS IN NEED SO WE CAN KEEP THE KIDS DOING POSITIVE THINGS WITH THERE LIFE ! ALSO FOR MY ALBUM IM GETTING NEW TALENT FROM AROUND THE WORLD TO BE APART OF THIS NOT JUST THE SAME OLD PEOPLE YOU HEAR 500 TIMES A WEEK! I WANT TALENT THATS BEEN LOST& OVER SEEN ON MY ALBUM LIKE FROM AFRICA,ASIA,INDIA,HATI, ETC YOU NAME IT ! ITS TIME TO SET THE BAR HIGH! 2010." (Swizz Beatz's Twitter)

The upcoming solo project would be his latest since 2007.

It wasn't until his first solo album, 2002's G.H.E.T.T.O. Stories, that he started to get notices for his production style and interesting ideas. The next five years would find him landing hit after hit and becoming more in demand with each production. In 2007 he released the infectious single "It's Me Snitches" to promote the coming full-length One Man Band. (All Music)

Swizz is also attached to Busta Rhymes' upcoming Chemo album.

"Rockwilder, Swizz Beatzzz, Busabus!!!!What the f*ck yall think is happening in the studio right now!!UN"F*CKIN'"DESCRIBABLE!! THE CHEMO!!!," he wrote Wednesday (December 16) night. "WHEN I TELL U TED SMOOTH JUST SENT ME A F*CKIN' MOSTER 4 THE ALBUM!!!!!STRAIGHT F*CKIN' CLASSIC SH*T!!!!SWIZZ, ROCKWILDER, NOW TED SMOOTH!!! In addition to his own music, the producer recently spoke on DMX's drug recovery.

"Me and X probably have the realest of realest talks," Swizzy said in an interview. "If a person don't wanna help themselves, then there's nothing you can do. The good thing is that X is willing to help himself. He's on that track. I know the X I can work with, I know the X I cannot work with. Right now [he] is the X I can work with. That's why he's on the ['Who's Real'] remix smashing it and we got about seven other records that, if we put out right now, it would mess everybody up... But I wanna have the proper setup where he's getting a fair chance and the most attention and most respect right now...I'm not putting nothing out until we have the lineup together, which we're close to having, and the streets are going to witness that raw uncut street element."
